  • Two radio stations will carry our official announcement for school closure – KOFI and Bee Broadcasting.
  • Our local TV stations will also carry announcements.
  • The district’s AlertNow phone messaging system will deliver school closure announcements.
  • The district’s website will have school closure announcements posted.

Will bus routes be normal during serve winter conditions?
 
  • All bus routes that have limited services will be announced on the Radio/TV.

  • All Flathead County school districts have a uniform policy – there will be no delayed starts or early releases.
  • School will open on regular time schedules or will be closed for the day.
  • Each day brings a new announcement depending on changing weather conditions.
 
What happens when schools are closed for the day?
 
  • No out of district transportation.
  • All school activities cancelled.
  • All school sponsored events are closed for the day and evening.
